Fostering relationships and channels into future careers.

Like many creative fields, filmmaking can be hard to break into. From the outside, and with no connections, it can seem daunting and exclusive—with no clear pathway to get your talents utilized and your ideas heard. So for young Detroit-area aspiring filmmakers, we’ve created a program to foster their creativity and interest with paid, real-world experience on set.

In partnership with Wayne State University, our goal is to identify promising creatives from underrepresented backgrounds and have at least one ON/SET PA on every Worldfare set. They’ll see how a set operates; and along the way get facetime with directors, cinematographers and producers whom can help shed some light on their path for future creative success.
